A Family Italian Tradition Since 1974

A Family Italian Tradition Since 1974

The story of Limonata begins with Pizza Plus, opened in 1974 on Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs by Everetta Lou and Tony Frasca. The restaurant quickly became known for its welcoming atmosphere and homemade Italian favorites. As its popularity grew, the concept evolved into Paninos, named after the signature baked Panino sandwich that guests loved. Today, that tradition continues through generations of the Frasca family, bringing the same passion for Italian comfort food and hospitality to every table.

The Famous Panino Sandwich

The Famous Panino Sandwich

At the heart of the Paninos legacy is the famous Panino sandwich. Made with fresh vegetables, quality meats, and flavorful cheeses, each sandwich is rolled, baked until golden, and served hot. Over the years, this signature creation has become a guest favorite and a symbol of the brand’s commitment to simple, satisfying Italian food made with care.

As the restaurant family grew, new Paninos locations opened across the country while remaining proudly family-owned and operated. Today, the tradition continues with locations in Colorado and beyond. The Fort Collins restaurant is operated by John and Marie Beck, former Colorado State University students and proud members of the Frasca family. Their passion for food, family, and community keeps the original spirit of Paninos alive.
